Scott Ayton-Laplanche trabajaba en una tienda de electrodomésticos desde hace 9 meses, en Reino Unido.
Scott pasó por un momento embarazoso cuando su nuevo jefe le ordenó que tenía que quitarse el maquillaje para poder seguir trabajando. Él no le hizo caso y continuó con sus labores.
Scott en su cuenta de Facebook publicó lo que le había sucedido y mencionó que lo hizo por luchar contra los estereotipos de género que prevalecen en la sociedad.

Scott no se quedó con los brazos cruzados, entonces hizo una denuncia en el perfil de Facebook de su nuevo jefe. Scott ha recibido el apoyo de muchísimo usuarios. La denuncia empezó de la siguiente manera, “No existe ninguna política de maquillaje en el trabajo”.

Los jefes incluso me animaron a hacerlo y me elogiaron (…) Obviamente, no voy a sacarme el maquillaje cuando todas mis colegas mujeres pueden venir a trabajar tan fabulosas como son“

Scott defiendo sus derechos:
“Esto es 2017, un momento del año en el que celebramos el Orgullo Gay durante el verano y yo luzco increíblemente hot, así que lidien con eso. Está mal discriminar descaradamente por cualquier razón y me tomé esta foto después de que me pidieran que me quitara el maquillaje”.
La empresa en donde trabaja ha respondido que están “orgullosos de la diversidad de sus empleados”, pero en ninguna línea mencionaron que Scott podía seguir asistiendo a su trabajo con maquillaje.
Esto sucedió en el 2017 y desgraciadamente aún se viven muchas injusticias por la apariencia o las preferencias de las personas, ¿Cuál es tu opinión sobre este caso?
