Luce totalmente cambiado el ex vocalista de My Chemical Romance, su transformación ha sorprendido a todos sus seguidores

Seguramente te habrás preguntado qué ha pasado con el vocalista de la banda My Chemical Romance, ahora te contaremos a qué se dedica actualmente.

La famosa banda de rock My Chemical Romance se hizo popular a principios del año 2000. Fue en ese momento una de las agrupaciones musicales más escuchadas por los jóvenes y estaba integrada por cinco hombres, el más admirado por los seguidores era el vocalista, Gerard Way quien ahora ha cambiado de actividad y ha dejado atrás su carrera musical.

Tuvo una gran cantidad de fanáticos, sobre todo las chicas eran sus principales seguidoras, admiraban su talento y atractivo, aunque su carrera apenas comenzaba, la banda decidió disolverse en el 2013.

En ese momento, Gerard decidió seguir otra de sus cualidades artísticas pero ahora en el área de los gráficos como dibujante, pues esta es otra de sus pasiones.

Actualmente el cantante cuenta con 40 años y se encuentra trabajando para el conocido sello editorial especializado en comics “Young Animal” de DC, es aquí donde se ha hecho el autor de “The Umbrela Academy”, además de otros comics muy conocidos como “Doom Patrol”, “Cave Carson has a cybernetic eye”, “Mother Panic”, “Shade” y “The Changing Girl”.

Hey all, Some comics came out yesterday that I was involved in, so I wanted to share them with you guys in case you’re heading to your favorite local shop.point 398 |

The first one here is The Secret Loves of Geeks, which is edited by the amazing Hope Nicholson and put out by one of my homes, Dark Horse Comics.point 117 | This is a really cool and gorgeous book that is very varied.point 166 | Prose and comics by lots of different people.point 204 |

Full disclosure this was the hardest comic I have ever had to write.point 56 | I think 4 pages took me 2 weeks of solid work once I built up the nerve to start writing.point 126 | A lot of it was building up nerve.point 153 | I struggled with the subject of love for a number of reasons, the biggest one being that love is a very personal and private thing for me, and the love I share with Lindsey is just for us, though occasionally you’ll see us post on special occasions.point 358 |

I feel like sometimes you gotta keep some things for yourself, and you can’t give everything personal away.point 92 | So what you have here in this book is a little story about comics, me avoiding the subject of love, and then finally giving in and talking about it, and some bits about the ways I would escape into my head.point 258 |

I’ll leave it up to you guys to decide what to make of it, but I definitely put a lot of thought and time into it.point 91 | And having a great editor is sometimes what gets you through the hard ones, and Hope was there for me every step of the way, so I thank her tremendously.point 215 |

I also want to thank the team I worked with on this one— Robert Wilson IV handled the art, which I love, Young Animal team member Kelly Fitzpatrick handled the colors in the gorgeous and trippy way she does, and Ryan Ferrier took care of the lettering, did a great job, and was a total trooper with all the changes I constantly made.point 273 |

But everyone in Young Animal really embraced the idea of a big classic crossover like the ones we grew up with, and Steve Orlando was there to teach us how to make one of these things work.point 153 | We all (Cecil, Jon, and Jody, Steve) spent a couple days at my studio, working through the whole story, with a big white board, and the more we worked on it, the more we loved it.point 297 |

Muchos de sus seguidores afirman que se ve irreconocible, pues antes era característica su imagen tipo emo, con atuendos oscuros y rebeldes además de un peinado muy singular. Hoy Gerard luce muy distinto a aquella imagen, pues se puede ver más descuidado, con el cabello largo, unos kilos de más y barba.

El ex vocalista, ahora dibujante profesional, próximamente creará una serie de personajes que está inspirados en The Umbrella Academy, este proyecto lo llevará a cabo en colaboración con Universal Cable Productions y Netflix, además será lanzado en este año.

Gerard Way además de dedicarse al dibujo de comics, en el ámbito personal, se encuentra casado con Lindsey Bellato con quien lleva 11 años de relación, además juntos tienen una hija llamada Bendit Lee.
